Debra Dooley is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in Nephrology. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her RN, and from the University of Virginia with her MSN/FNP. Debra was the first FNP hired at VNA and has served our patients for 30 years.
Robin H. Wright, RN, FNP
Robin Wright is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in Nephrology. She graduated from Radford University with her RN and MSN/FNP. Robin also worked in the dialysis unit as a nurse for many years and brings great knowledge and experience to our practice.
Rebecca Hughes, RN, FNP
Rebecca Hughes is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in Nephrology. She graduated from Radford University with her RN, and from Old Dominion University with her MSN/FNP.
James Ryan Robertson, RN, ACNP
Ryan Robertson serves patients primarily in his hometown of Martinsville, Virginia. Prior to joining Valley Nephrology he served as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Martinsville and in Nashville, Tennessee after having been an RN for six years. Ryan received his Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Old Dominion University.
Jessica Saunders, DNP, RN, AGNP-C
Jessica Saunders is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner who specializes in nephrology. She has been with Valley Nephrology since 2016. She is a graduate of the Radford University Bachelors of Science in Nursing program; and the Duke University Masters of Science in Nursing and Doctoral Nursing programs. Jessica sees patients in the office, dialysis units, and both Roanoke area hospitals. She is actively involved in research and clinical trials benefiting chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease patients.
Walter Curtis Hodges, DNP, FNP-C, RN, BSN
Curtis Hodges is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in Nephrology. He is a graduate from East Carolina University with his RN and Radford University with his Doctorate of Nursing Practice, FNP.

Christine Lawson is a family nurse practitioner who specializes in Nephrology. She graduated from Radford University with her RN and MSN/FNP. Christine worked several years in the hospital as a nurse, and brings great knowledge and experience to our practice.
